Vijayawada: Actor and YSRC leader Ali has announced that he is permanently quitting active politics. In a video statement released by him, Ali said, “I am no longer associated with any political party. Also, I no longer support any political party.” Ali affirmed that he is just a common man and will continue to do his film shootings.
Ali also declared
that he would no longer be involved in politics and said he would cast his vote in elections conducted every five years. Ali had served as the electronic media adviser to the Government of Andhra Pradesh under the previous YSRC government and hoped to get an MLA/MP ticket on behalf of the YSRC to contest in the 2024 general elections.
