Terrorist killed in an encounter with security forces in Baramulla district, J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, a terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Baramulla district last night. 

The gunfight broke out after the forces launched a cordon and search operation at Wadoora Payeen village of Sopore following inputs about the



presence of terrorists there. Two militants were believed to be trapped in the area. 

Security sources said the body of the terrorist has been recovered while his identity and group affiliation is being ascertained.
