Terrorist killed in encounter with security forces in Malbagh, J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, one terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces on the outskirts of Srinagar city last night.

Police said, the encounter broke out at Malbagh locality near Hazratbal Shrine when a joint team of security forces started a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in the area. As



the security forces approached the suspected spot, the terrorists opened fire. Security forces retaliated and killed the terrorist. The identity of the slain terrorist is being ascertained.

One CRPF personnel was martyred in the gunbattle and two others injured.
