Terrorist killed in encounter with security forces in Pulwama district of J&K

In the Kashmir Valley, one terrorist has been killed in an encounter at Padgampora village in Awantipora area of south Kashmir's Pulwama district.

According to police, a joint team of Army, CRPF and J&K Police launched a Cordon and Search Operation in Padgampora village after having credible inputs about the



presence of some terrorists in the area. 

As the joint team approached the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the security forces triggering an encounter. One terrorist has been eliminated in the operation so far whose identity is being ascertained.
