Terrorist killed in gunfight in J&K

In Jammu & Kashmir, an unidentified terrorist has been killed during ongoing gunfight that raged between terrorists and security forces in Narwani Imam Sahib area of South Kashmir's shopian district this morning.

Earlier, a cordon and search operation was launched by joint team of security forces in the Narwani orchards on the basis of specific inputs about the



presence of terrorists in the area.

Security sources said as the forces zeroed in on the  suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon forces which was retaliated triggering gunfight.

Sources said that atleast one or two terrorists are still believed to engaged in the gunfight in the area.
