In Bihar, a three-day national postal exhibition BIPEX-2024 yesterday started at Gyan Bhawan in Patna. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar inaugurated the exhibition which is based on the rich history of postal culture of Bihar. Addressing the function the governor said the knowledge which is invested in postal stamps should be passed to the next generation. Mr. Arlekar said the postal stamps are a very crucial instrument to integrate
with our tradition, culture and history.
Mr. Arlekar also released two books Glory of Bihar and Postal Heritage of Bihar which has been written by Chief Post Master General of Bihar, Anil Kumar. More than 150 postal stamp collectors and philatelists are taking part in the programme with more than 20,000 stamps on a variety of subjects.
