Delhi, India: An official stated on Saturday that three passengers had been detained at Delhi Airport for carrying "fake" RBI documents.
The official continued, "Some suspicious images were noticed in a hand bag during security check at the domestic terminal of the IGI airport at 6.20 p.m. on Friday, and during physical check, fake RBI documents embossed with the Indian state emblem of the Lion capital of Asoka, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) logo and bond papers valued at Rs 88,000
crore."
According to the official, Rahul and his two co-passengers, Abdul Irfan and Arpudharaj, were supposed to take a different flight to Chennai.
When questioned, the passangers also offered a bribe of Rs 3 lakh to the CISF official in exchange for letting them go with the discovered documents.
According to the official, "Assistant Sub Inspector Hari Kishan rejected the offer, apprehended the erring passengers, and immediately informed the senior officers of CISF of the matter."
