Three killed, 20 injured in accident involving Hyderabad Kakinada bus near Eluru

Eluru: Three persons were killed and twenty others were injured when a private bus rammed into a cement-laden truck on the highway near Chodimella village village in the early hours of Thursday.

According to reports reaching here, the private bus owned by Ramana Travels was on its way to Kakinada from Hyderabad.

Under the impact of the collision, the bus rolled over several times



leading to instant death of three passengers. Police rushed to the place to take up rescue operations.

The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals. Initial investigations revealed that overspeeding could have led to the accident. There was a heavy traffic jam due to the accident. Police had to use a crane to remove the bus to restore normalcy on the highway.
