Three LeT terrorist killed in an encounter with security forces in Budgam, J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, three dreaded Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Budgam district yesterday. Additional Director General of Police (Kashmir Zone) Vijay Kumar said the slain terrorists include Lateef Rather, who was behind the killing of Kashmiri Pandit employee Rahul Bhat and TV actor Amreen Bhat in May



this year. 

Security forces launched a manhunt following a tip-off about the presence of terrorists at Waterhail in Khansahib area. The search operation, however, turned into an encounter after the terrorists opened fire at the security forces, prompting retaliation.
