Three of family die as house roof collapses due to heavy rain in UP

Three women of a family died after the roof of their two-storey house collapsed due to heavy rain in Brahmpur village in Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri district on Thursday, police said.

Mainpuri Deputy SP Satya Prakash Sharma said that the roof of the house collapsed under the weight of the heavy



rain.

"Three women have died in the roof collapse incident. There are no other injuries. The house was 15-16 years old, and it's believed that the roof gave way due to the heavy rain,"

According to Mainpuri ADM Ramji Mishra, the incident occurred at 8 AM, and the house belonged to serviceman Kaushalendra Yadav.
