Three terrorists killed in Zadoora area of J&K's Pulwama district

In Jammu and Kashmir, three terrorists were killed in an encounter with security forces in Zadoora area of Pulwama district early this morning. The encounter broke out during a cordon and search operation by a joint team of Pulwama Police, Army and CRPF. The operation was launched following specific input about the presence of terrorists in the Zadoora area.

As the security forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists opened fire on them.



Security forces retaliated by killing three terrorists. One Army soldier also attained martyrdom in the operation. Arms and ammunition have been recovered from the encounter site. Search operation in the area is going on.

This was the second encounter in South Kashmir in less than 24 hours. Four terrorists had been killed, one caught alive in an encounter in Kiloora area of Shopian district yesterday evening.
