TMC bags all 3 seats in West Bengal

In West Bengal, the ruling Trinamool Congress has won all three assembly seats in the by-elections.

The TMC has retained the Karimpur seat while snatched Kharagpur Sadar from BJP and Kaliaganj from Congress. Our correspondent reports that BJP emerged in the second position in all three seats.

The by-elections took place on 25th November.

The



winning candidates are Tapan Deb Sinha from Kaliaganj, Pradip Sarkar from Kharagpur Sadar and Bimalendu Sinha Roy from Karimpur seats.

Bharatiya Janata Party has won the Pithoragarh Assembly by-poll in Uttarakhand.

Party Candidate Chandra Pant defeated Congress Candidate Anju Lunthi by a margin of 3,267 votes.
