The Trinamool Congress (TMC) won all the four Assembly seats in the by-elections in West Bengal on Saturday.

The TMC won the assembly elections in Bagdah, Ranaghat Dakshin, Raiganj and retained the seat of Maniktala.

Notably,



by-elections took place in 13 Assembly constituencies across the country. While the INDIA bloc parties won in 10 seats, while the NDA won in two seats and an independent candidate won in one seat.

The TMC's tally in the West Bengal Assembly went up to 219.
