In Delhi, the strike by the staff of cluster buses has entered the fourth day today. According to Audyogik Kamgar Vikas Union, hundreds of drivers and conductors will stage a protest outside the Lt Governor's office today as the Delhi government was not paying heed to their demands.
The union said the strike is to protest against non-payment of salaries as per the new rates
of minimum wages.Yesterday, passengers faced lot of inconvenience and office goers had a tough time to reach their workplace.
On several routes, there was a shortage of cluster buses, operated by Delhi Integrated Multi-Modal Transit System. More than two thousand cluster buses that ply across the national capital were off the roads due to strike.
