Visakhapatnam: As many as 12 trains have been cancelled, 15 diverted while 7 others have been partially cancelled after two trains collided in Andhra Pradesh's Vizianagaram, East Coast Railway official said on Sunday.

"...12 trains have been cancelled...15 trains diverted and there is partial cancellation of 7 trains. We have made bus arrangements for passengers so that they are not trapped in the area...We have partially recovered (the tracks)..." Biswajit Sahu, CPRO, East Coast Railway told ANI

Two passenger trains, the Raipur-Visakhapatnam passenger and the return train, have been cancelled for Monday.

Five trains



will run on a diverted route via Titlagarh-Raipur-Nagpur-Ballarsha-Vijayawada instead of their regular route via Visakhapatnam-Vijayawada. These trains are:

Train No. 03357 Barauni-Coimbatore Special Express

Train No. 18189 Tata-Ernakulam Express

Train No. 11020 Bhubaneswar-CST Mumbai-Konark Express

Train No. 12703 Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express

Train No. 12245 Howrah-SVM Bangalore Duronto Express

Passengers are advised to check the train running status before starting their journey.
