In Bihar, train services have been restored on the down line of Buxar-Danapur rail section after more than three hours of the incident of separation of coaches of Islampur bound Magadh Express yesterday.
Chief Public Relations Officer of East Central Railway, Saraswati Chandra said, the New Delhi-Islampur Magadh Express departed from Raghunathpur station for destination at around 2.25 pm.
The passengers of the train had a
narrow escape yesterday as nine of its bogies were detached from the engine following the failure of coupling between two bogies near Raghunathpur station in Buxar district at around 11 on Sunday morning. Train services remained halted on the down line for more than three hours due to the incident.
The CPRO said, the exact cause of the incident will be ascertained after a proper inquiry.
