Visakhapatnam: Several train services in the Vijayawada Division of South Central Railway have been cancelled and diverted due to essential safety works. Passengers are advised to take note of these changes and plan their travel accordingly, according to a railway release on Tuesday.
The cancelled trains include Train No. 17267/17268 Kakinada – Visakhapatnam Express, Train No. 07466/07467 Rajahmundry - Visakhapatnam Express, Train No. 17219/17220 Machilipatnam - Visakhapatnam Express, train No. 17243/17244 Guntur - Rayagada Express will be cancelled in both the directions from November 13 to November 19.
The train No. 22702/22701 Vijayawada - Visakhapatnam Uday Express in both directions will be cancelled on specific dates - November 13, 14, 15, 17, and 18.
Train No. 17239/17240
Guntur - Visakhapatnam Express in both directions will be cancelled from November 13 to November 19.
Diverted trains include Train No. 22643 Ernakulam-Patna SF Express departing from Ernakulam on November 13, will be diverted via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, and Nidadavolu Junction.
Train No. 12509 SMV Bengaluru-Guwahati SF Express departing from SMV Bengaluru on November 15 and 17 will run on a diverted route via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, and Nidadavolu Junction.
Train No. 11019 CST Mumbai-Bhubaneswar Konark Express departing from CST Mumbai on November 13, 15, 17, and 18 will be diverted via Vijayawada, Gudivada, Bhimavaram Town, and Nidadavolu Junction. Stoppage at Eluru and Tadepalligudem stations will be eliminated during this period.
