Tribal districts of HP receive fresh snowfall

The higher reaches and tribal districts of Himachal Pradesh received fresh snowfall yesterday, while rain was reported in other parts.As a result, the mercury fell by several degrees throughout the state. The MeT department has predicted more snowfall on higher reaches and rain in other parts of the state during the next 24 hours. 

The higher reaches in tribal districts continue to



experience snowfall last night while several other areas lashed with intermittent rain. 

Due to several feet snowfall the Lahaul-Spiti district and Pangi sub division of Chamba district have been cut off by road connectivity with the rest of world. The power and water supply and communication system has been affected badly in interior and far flung areas.
