The Telangana State
Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) will collect 1.5 per cent additional fares in
the special buses to be operated during Krishna Pushkaralu, which are going to
kickstart from August 12.
The corporation would
ply nearly 400 buses during the eleven-day event to various places including
Srisailam, Vijayawada, Beechpally and
Nagarjunasagar. As part of this, the
corporation will run 81 buses to Srisailam, 135 to Beechupally, 90 to
Nagarjunasagar and 50 to Vijayawada.
Stating that the buses would be operated for every five minutes, TSRTC Rangareddy regional manager R Gangadhar said the number of buses would be increased after seeing the response from passengers.
