TTD to Send 1 Lakh Laddus to Ram Temple

Tirupati: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) is gearing up to dispatch one lakh of its world-famous ‘srivaari laddus’ for distribution to devotees at the Ayodhya Ram temple on the occasion of the consecration ceremony on January 22. TTD officials said that a team of 350 workers is actively engaged in the process of packing two laddus in each packet. 

They said packets will



be arranged in 350 boxes, with each box containing 150 packets of laddus, each weighing approximately 25 grams. A TTD source said they are taking utmost care in the packing process “to ensure the pristine quality of these sacred offerings to Lord Sri Ram's devotees”. The TTD has scheduled the dispatch of the one lakh laddus from Tirumala for January 20.
