Protesters hoist Pakistan flag on J&K CM’s ancestral house
a major embarrassment for J&K Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, protesters on Tuesday hoisted the Pakistani flag on his ancestral house at Bijbhera in South Kashmir. In the morning, people in the native town of J&K chief minister took to streets and participated in the funeral of three youths who were killed by the Army and Police in South Kashmir’s Sulligam village after a brief encounter on Monday.The protesters also pelted stones at the ancestral house of the chief minister located at Baba Mohallah.
Locals said that some youths put up a big Pakistani flag on the house of chief minister. Later, the protesters left the spot.Meanwhile, Kashmir is witnessing a shutdown against the killing of three youths at South Kashmir. Hurriyat chairman, Syed Ali Geelani had called for a day-long strike in Kashmir against the killing of three militants. Most of the shops in the Valley remained closed, however traffic was plying on the roads. The three militants police said were affiliated with the Hizbul Mujahideen and were killed in an encounter at Tantray mullah locality in Sulligam on Monday afternoon
