Two army Jawans martyred in Pakistani firing in Keri sector

Two army Jawans were martyred in Pakistani firing in Keri sector along the Line of Control in Jammu district last night. 

Defence sources told that Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars last evening in Keri sector along the Line of Control in Akhnoor area of Jammu



district.

Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively. However, in the exchange of fire, Rifleman Vinod Singh hailing from Jammu district and Rifleman Jaki Sharma from Kathua district of J&K grievously injured and succumbed to their injuries. Exchange of fire lasted for some time.
