Two children die after 'food poisoning' in Jammu & Kashmir

Two children died after allegedly consuming food at a wedding function in Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur district on Friday, officials said.

The incident occurred in Satyalta village, Ghordi block, on July 31.Additional Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Joginder Singh Jasrotia



said that the children complained of vomiting and diarrhoea after consuming the food.

"As per the information we have received, they had consumed food at a wedding function on July 31. They complained of vomiting and diarrhoea today. 2 children were brought dead," he said.
