The two-day Delhi Assembly session concluded on Friday. On the last day of the session, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party discussed several issues including pension for widows and Old Age pension in the House. Aam Aadmi Party MLA Dilip Pandey informed that the government has resumed old age pension for senior citizens.
The ruling party also questioned the Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD) Standing Committee’s election held
today. Meanwhile, leader of opposition in Delhi Assembly, BJP MLA Vijendra Gupta said that MCD is not functioning properly due to absence of standing committee in MCD. Aam Aadmi Party MLAs also discussed the law and order situation in the city.
AAP convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal informed the House that the city government has started inspecting the roads to improve the city’s roads.
