A two-day meeting of BJP National Executive will begin today in New Delhi. Party President Amit Shah will deliver the inaugural address in the presence of the party's top leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Mr Modi is scheduled to give the valedictory speech tomorrow. The meeting will be attended by all national and state executive members.
Yesterday, Party spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain said, this will be the first meeting of the party's National Executive following the death of its
stalwart Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The executive will pay tribute to the former Prime Minister. Mr Hussain told that the executive will discuss all the topical issues.
Current issues, upcoming assembly elections and general elections of 2019 are expected to be on the agenda of the meeting.
The national executive will also discuss the ways to ensure how the work done by the Modi government can be taken to the people in the most effective manner.
