Two-day national conference with States & UTs to begin at Kevadiya in Gujarat

Kevadiya: A two-day national conference with States and Union Territories will begin at Kevadiya in Gujarat from today. This conference organized by the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development will focus on various issues concerning the nutrition of child and mother.

Gujarat Minister for women and child welfare Ganpatsinh Vasava along with minister of state Vibhavariben Dave has reviewed the preparations for the conference at Kevadiya. On the first day today,



the dignitaries will visit the Statue of Unity after completing registration formalities. Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Irani will formally inaugurate the conference on Tuesday morning at Tent City in Kevadiya.

The conference will deliberate on important issues like Mission Poshan 2.0, Mission Vatsalya and Mission Shakti along with challenges and expectations from the states and union territories.
