Two-day session of the Gujarat Assembly to commence today

Gandhinagar: A two-day session of the Gujarat Assembly will commence today, September 21. 

On the first day, the assembly is likely to take up three bills today which include the GST Amendment Bill, the Gujarat Control of Terrorism and Organised Crime amendment bill, and the Gujarat



Electricity Industry Reorganisation and Regulation bill.  

This will be the last session of the assembly before a new House is elected by the year-end. This brief session is being held just ahead of the Assembly polls which are likely by December.
