In Jammu and Kashmir, security forces have arrested two hybrid terrorists linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit from Kupwara district. In a joint operation, the Kupwara Police and Army's 28 Rashtriya Rifles also recovered four pistols, eight pistol magazines, 130 pistol rounds and 10 hand grenades from their possession during the arrest. A case under relevant sections of law has been



registered in Lalpora Police Station and an investigation has been taken up to unearth the terror module involved in the case.

Meanwhile, an encounter erupted at the Wanigam Bala area of Baramulla district in the wee hours today. The gunfight between the terrorists and security forces was underway when reports last came in.
