Two Lashkar-e-Toiba terrorists killed in J&K

Srinagar: In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, two terrorists of  proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) were neutralised by Srinagar Police in a swift encounter late last night in Bemina area of Srinagar city.

Kashmir Zone Police while quoting Inspector General of Police Kashmir Vijay Kumar in series of tweets said that as per the documents and other incriminating materials recovered from them, one of the killed terrorist has been identified as Abdullah Goujri,



resident of Faisalabad in Pakistan while as the other has been identified as Adil Hussain Mir alias Sufian of Pahalgam in Anantnag district. 

As per police records, he crossed over to Pakistan in 2018 on VISA visit from Wagah. One policeman has also received minor injuries in the operation.

The IGP Kashmir has termed the operation as a big success for Jammu and Kashmir police. Further details are awaited.
