Two terrorists gunned down by security forces in Anantnag encounter

Two terrorists were gunned down by security forces in an encounter that erupted between security forces and terrorists at Kreeri in Dooru area of south Kashmir's Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday evening.

The identity of the slain terrorists is being ascertained. The joint operation by 19 Rashtriya Rifles and Jammu & Kashmir Police in



the area was still underway when reports last came in.

Meanwhile, Srinagar police and 2 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army arrested four hybrid terrorists along with four pistols from Bemina area in the outskirts of Srinagar city. A case in this regard has been registered and investigation initiated.
