In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, a Pakistani terrorist was among two terrorists, who were neutralized by security forces in an encounter in south Kashmir's Kulgam district last evening.
Giving details, a police official said security forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in Khurbatpora area of Kulgam following inputs about the presence of terrorists there. The search operation however turned into an encounter after the terrorists fired upon the forces, who retaliated.

Pakistani terrorist whose code name was Chacha & one hybrid terrorist got killed while two Police Personnel were injured, who were immediately evacuated to the nearby hospital for a specialised treatment.
Meanwhile, security forces arrested three hybrid terrorists of proscribed terror outfit Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in Sopore area of Baramulla district. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the trio were in constant search of an opportunity to carry out attacks on security forces as well as civilians.
