Two tiger cubs, who were injured after being hit by a train at Midghat track, died while undergoing treatment at Van Vihar National Park in the state capital Bhopal, according to an official release.

The cubs were rescued from Midghat track, Budhni in Sehore district



and brought to Van Vihar National Park, where one cub died on Tuesday morning and another on Wednesday.

"Two tiger cubs, very seriously injured in a train accident, were rescued from Midghat Railway Line Budhni on July 16 and brought to Van Vihar National Park.
