Two unidentified terrorists killed in gunfight in Anantnag district

In Jammu and Kashmir, two unidentified terrorists have been killed in an ongoing gunfight at Kandipora area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district. A Police spokesman said that the gunfight had erupted last evening when a joint team of police and security forces launched a cordon and search operation, following the presence of terrorists in the



area.

 

The operation was suspended for the night and resumed early morning today. Two unidentified terrorists have been killed so far in the gunfight. The encounter is still going on.

 

Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure, internet services have been snapped in the Anantnag district.
