UGC requests university to bring photos,Aadhaar number on degrees

The University Grants Commission has requested all universities to introduce identification mechanisms like photograph and Aadhar number in degrees and certificates awarded to students.

Sabha yesterday while replying to a question. He said the UGC has also requested all the universities to inscribe the name of institution in which a student is enrolled for a programme to study as well as the mode of delivery as regular, part-time or distance.
