Five people are said to have been killed after Kyiv’s main Tv tower was bombed.
An advisor to the country’s Interior Ministry, Anton Herashchenko, accused Russian forces of trying to disrupt the building’s communication signal with the attack.
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said the strike on Tuesday was close to the country’s Holocaust Memorial
complex.
Unconfirmed reports suggest the complex itself had also been hit.
The images revealed that the Russian military convoy is advancing from the north of Kyiv and is substantially longer than previously reported.
The vast convoy included armoured vehicles, tanks, artillery and support vehicles. As per the latest update, the convoy was 17 miles (25 kilometres) away from the centre of Kyiv.
