The pressure seems to have got to Karnataka's Energy Minister D K Shivakumar who was raided for three days in a row by the Income Tax department. A cardiologist was rushed to check on the minister who remains locked in his Sadashivnagar bungalow for the past three days.
It was reported that Shivakumar who is being questioned late into the night had varied blood pressure. The cardiologist Dr B Ramana Rao was called in to check on the minister after he complained of heavy stress.
Shivakumar who played host to the Gujarat MLAs is being questioned late into the night. At times the questioning goes on till 1 am. IT department officials say that



at times he is cooperative. However at times he is evasive as well, the official said.
On Friday there was some amount of drama when his brother was not let into the house to meet his brother. I came here to enquire about his health, D K Suresh said.
The CRPF personnel who accompanied the IT department officials did not permit Suresh to enter the house. The ministers supporters who have been camping outside the house raised slogans and demanded that Suresh be let in.
However later Suresh was allowed to meet his brother. He told reporters that Shivakumar is fine. He is under a lot of stress and pressure, he also added.
