Morena: Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare in collaboration with Madhya Pradesh government is organizing a three-day agricultural fair and exhibition in Morena from today. The objective of the Kisan Mela is to make the farmers aware of the farmer-friendly policies of the government and to give information to farmers about new technology to double their income. About 35 thousand farmers will participate in this event.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate the Kisan Mela. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar will preside
over the program. On this occasion, the Chief Minister will inaugurate 103 Amrit Sarovar and also lay the foundation stone of Sanjeevani Kendras. The Union Agriculture Minister informed in a virtual press conference from Delhi yesterday that a Krishi Mela is being organized to make the Gwalior-Chambal region an advanced pioneer in the field of agriculture.
For the guidance of farmers, various sessions will be held on important topics every day, in which agricultural experts from across the country will give information and presentations.
