Union budget shows that govt works for welfare of weaker sections: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said initiatives announced in the Union Budget showed it did not merely talk about the welfare of the weaker sections but also worked to implement it. 

Addressing BJP MPs at Party Parliamentary meeting in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Modi described social justice as his



government’s key motto.Prime Minister said Budget is a historic document to fulfil government’s aim of sabka sath sabka vikas.

After the meeting, Union Minister Ananth Kumar told reporters that Mr Modi asked MPs to go to the masses to highlight the budget’s pro-people measures.
