Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy asserts, reduction in domestic LPG cylinder price to help crores of people especially poor women

Union Culture Minister G Kishan Reddy on Wednesday (30 August 2023) said reduction of 200 rupees in the price of the domestic LPG cylinder has been implemented, as a Rakshabandhan gift, for the first time and it will help crores of people especially the poor



women. 

The Minister said the Ujwala beneficiaries are being benefited by 400 rupees per cylinder. Referring to the decision to provide 75 lakh new connections under the Ujwala scheme, he said it will help implement the scheme on a saturation basis.
