The Union finance ministry has disbursed GST share to the tune of 11 thousand 5 hundred and 19 crore rupees to Maharashtra, informed state BJP president, Chandrakant Patil.
He said the Shiv Sena led-coalition government should utilise this amount to mitigate the Covid crisis and to expedite development projects in the state. Slamming the state government, he said they should not blame the
Centre every time.
The BJP leader criticised deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar for his statement that 27 thousand crore rupees of the GST share of the state government are expected from the Centre, which he said would affect this year's state budget. Mr Patil pointed out that in 2019-20 the Centre had disbursed as much as 19 thousand 2 hundred and 33 crore rupees to Maharashtra.
