The Union Health Ministry has said that the incoming foreign aid to combat COVID-19 is being promptly dispatched to the States and Union Territories. The Centre has been receiving international cooperation of COVID-19 relief medical supplies and equipment since 27th of last month from different countries and organisations. Cumulatively, 17,755 Oxygen Concentrators, 16,301 Oxygen Cylinders, 19 Oxygen Generation Plants, more than 13



thousand ventilators, around seven lakh Remdesivir vials and 12 lakh Favipiravir tablets were delivered through road and air.
 
The Ministry said, the major consignments received in the last two days are from UAE, Singapore, Canada, Nestle (Swiss-India Chamber of Commerce). A dedicated Coordination Cell has been created in the Union Health Ministry to coordinate the receipt and allocation of foreign COVID relief material.
