Union Health Secy holds video conference to review preparedness for management of Novel Coronavirus

Union Health Secretary Preeti Sudan today held a video conference with Health Secretaries of States and Union Territories and concerned Ministries to review preparedness for management of Novel Corona virus.

The Ministry said in a statement that few hygiene habits can help in reducing the risk of Novel Corona virus. The Ministry has asked people to frequently clean hands



with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rub. 

During coughing and sneezing, people should cover mouth and nose with flexed elbow or tissue. It has also advised people to avoid close contact with those having fever and cough. People should also avoid unprotected contact with live wild or farm animals.
