Senior BJP leader and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be on a day-long visit to Bihar today, February 25. He will address a public meeting in Lauriya in West Champaran district and participate in a programme at Bapu Sabhagar in Patna organised by the state BJP.
The BJP State President Dr. Sanjay Jaiswal informed that Mr. Shah will also hold deliberations with party officials and workers in Patna. The State BJP chief further said that later in the evening Mr. Shah will also pay a visit to the Sikh Shrine and the birthplace of Guru Govind Singh Ji
Maharaj at Takht Shri Harimandir Sahib in Patna City.
Elaborate security arrangements have been made at venues in Lauriya and Patna in view of the visit of Mr. Shah. This is the second visit of the Union Home Minister after the break up of the NDA coalition with JD(U) in the state in August 2022. On the other hand, the visit of Mr. Shah also coincides with a joint public meeting of the ruling Grand Alliance led by JD(U), RJD, Congress and other parties in the Seemanchal region of the state in Purnea today.
