Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr. Virendra Kumar will present the one croreth Unique Disability ID (UDID) card in New Delhi on Monday. He will hand over the UDID to two year old girl named Vanshika Nand Kishore Mane. Social Justice Ministry said, as of the 2011 census, India is home to about two crore 68 lakh divyangjan. In 2017, the UDID Card project was initiated, aimed at



providing a unique identity to Divyangjans and creating a comprehensive database for strategic welfare planning.
 
On the occasion, the Minister will dedicate the Indigenously developed IQ testing tool to the nation. This will play a crucial role in assessing the cognitive abilities of individuals with disabilities.
