Union Minister Giriraj Singh to interact with Panchayat representatives

Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Giriraj Singh will interact with Panchayat representatives, invited as Special Guests for Republic Day Celebrations today in New Delhi. This engagement aims to deepen the roots of democracy, fostering a stronger connection between citizens and their elected representatives, and roles of Panchayati Raj Institutions in Viksit Bharat till 2047. The Minister will also honour and felicitate



the invitees for their valuable contributions to grassroots governance.

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has invited around 500 esteemed guests from across the country. The selected participants of Panchayati Raj Institutions are from those Panchayats which have received the National Panchayat Awards last year, or their Panchayat has done remarkable work.
