Union Minister H.D. Kumarasamy Urges Against Politicizing Cauvery Issue

Union Minister for heavy industries H.D.Kumarasamy has said that the Cauvery issue should not be politicised. Speaking to reporters in Trichy yesterday he said that there is no problem in sharing water during sufficient rains and appealed to the farmers to understand the situation and asked the farmers to adhere to the give and take policy to solve issues



amicably. 

The Minister paid a visit to the famous Srirangam Temple. Later he left for the Salem Stainless Steel Plant, he said that the Plant which was started in 1970 has to be revamped according to the present needs. The Minister then visited the Plant and held a review meeting with the officials. He also planted a sapling at the campus.
