Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Mr. Jayant Chaudhary yesterday virtually inaugurated the six centres of Sant Gadge Baba Swachh Bharat Prabodhini. These centres are based in Goregaon, Pune, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Amravati and Nagpur. They will focus on how to encourage and train the youth to build a clean and healthy India. Stating that the youth must imbibe the values of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar and Sant Gadge Baba, Mr Chaudhary said every state must focus on imparting
skill-based training as per their local requirement.
Addressing an event in Mumbai, Mr. Chaudhary said, the Maharashtra State Skill University is leading the way in training the youth and making them job-ready. The minister also renamed the Industrial Training Institute in Mumbai as Bharat Ratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Industrial Training Institute. Maharashtra’s Skill Development Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha was also present on the occasion.
