Union Minister Kiren Rijiju Announces Development of All Gautam Buddha Sites in Maharashtra

Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju yesterday announced that all sites in Maharashtra associated with Bhagwan Gautam Buddha will be visited and developed. Mr Rijiju visited Chaityabhoomi in Dadar, Mumbai, and paid floral tributes to Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. 

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Rijiju described Chaityabhoomi as a land of inspiration and expressed his



fortune at visiting the site for the first time. He also met with the Buddhist monks and community members and interacted with them. Talking to the media here, Mr Rijiju said that the BJP will take revenge on those who insulted and humiliated Babasaheb Ambedkar. Mr Rijiju also attended the SC Morcha conference of Maharashtra BJP and addressed the gathering.
