Union minister for road transport and highways Nitin Gadkari laid foundation for 25 highway projects and inaugurated 8 highways in Karnataka today.
Taking part in the ceremony virtually he laid the foundation stones and inaugurated new highways of 1197 kms worth 10,904 crore rupees. Totally 33 projects were either executed
or launched today.
Speaking on the occasion Chief Minister B.S.Yediyurappa said that the road projects will be a game-changer in boosting the economy and improving connectivity in the country. He also requested the union minister to clear pending grants and approve projects connecting Bengaluru with Mangaluru
