Ranchi: Union Road, Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari on Thursday inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of 31 road projects in Jharkhand worth thirteen thousand two hundred crore rupees during his one day visit to Jharkhand. Varanasi-Ranchi Economic Corridor, double-decker elevated Corridor road project in Jamshedpur, and Bokaro-Jaina More-Gola-Ormanjhi Expressway were the few important road links under these schemes.
Mr Gadkari also
inaugurated the linkage of Ranchi-Jamshedpur road project with Ranchi Ring road for smooth commercial transportation. Union Minister said that Jharkhand will be provided road infrastructure worth 2 lakh crore rupees before 2024.
Mr Gadkari laid the foundation stone of 10 road projects from Jamshedpur with a cost of 3,800 crore rupees and 21 road projects from Ranchi with a cost of 9,400 crore rupees.
